First Celebration of Trevor's Third Birthday

August 2, 2008

At lunch, Trevor was alerted a busy late afternoon and evening was in his future. He immediately headed for his bedroom to recharge his mental batteries. Good thing Rabbit and Bruin Hilda kept watch as he took a nap.

Trevor never guessed he would be making his own birthday dinner. Here he patiently shells beans for the main course.

The Birthday Dinner: Trevor went on and on during his poignant after-dinner speech where he reflected on the highlights of his first three years as supreme ruler of the family.

Awwwwww, cupcakes. Chocolate with marshmallow topping is always a winner.

His new best friend. Brett's parents drove up for the afternoon and brought Trevor some wonderful gifts including two kid sized Adirondack chairs and this great plush tiger. Trevor spent most of the evening wrestling with his new pal.

What a fun day! Trevor thinks the best part of having grandparents scattered over the state is that he gets to have multiple birthday parties!

That tiger is awesome! I want one! :)

Glad Trevor is learning early that birthday celebrations should be spread out over the whole month!
